LinkedIn for dentists: employer plans, referrals and your team
LinkedIn isn’t where patients look for a dentist, but a dental practice can use it for three things: employer agreements for staff dental care, a referral network with specialists, and hiring hygienists and dentists. Invite those profiles in your city and post as a specialist, not as an ad.
Who to invite on LinkedIn: a guide for dentists and dental practices
On LinkedIn your audience is employers, referring colleagues and future team members.
| If you work in… | Invite… | At… |
|---|---|---|
| Employer agreements | HR directors and benefits managers | Companies with 50+ employees in your city |
| Referrals | Orthodontists, oral surgeons, paediatricians | Private healthcare |
| Hiring | Hygienists, dentists, dental assistants | Dental practices in your area |
| Suppliers and labs | Dental lab and distributor managers | Medical devices |
How to set up your audience in Reachvite
Values for each tab of the extension:
- Industry: Hospitals and Health Care for colleagues; your city’s large employers’ industries for agreements.
- Job title: HR director, benefits manager, dentist, orthodontist, dental hygienist.
- Companies: The largest employers in your city.
- Where?: Your city and metro area.
Reachvite always adds its own filters: real people with 500+ connections, and never 1st-degree connections or pending invitations.
How many invitations a week?
One batch of 20 a week.
This is a secondary, very local use of LinkedIn. One well-chosen batch of 20 a week is enough for local employers and colleagues to get to know you. LinkedIn doesn’t publish a fixed number: we explain it in the weekly invitation limit.
Example invitation notes
Notes are optional and capped at 300 characters.
- “Hi Ines, I run a dental practice in Sacramento and we offer agreements for company teams. Glad to connect.”
- “Hi Dr Price, I’m a general dentist in Tucson looking for orthodontists to work with. Happy to connect.”
- “Hi Laura, we’re growing the hygiene team at our practice in Raleigh. I’d like to have you in my network.”
