People like me: start with people like you

“People like me” is a Reachvite option for anyone unsure who to invite on LinkedIn. In one click it reads the header of your own profile once (headline, role, company, location and language) and fills in the filters: job title, where and language. You can change everything before you start, and it doesn’t infer gender.

How does it work?

It opens your profile once, reads the header, closes the tab and suggests an audience.

For example: a “Marketing Manager” in Barcelona gets Job title “marketing”, Where “Spain” and profiles in Spanish. The yellow summary explains it in one sentence before anything is sent.

What data does it read, and where is it stored?

Only your profile header, stored in your browser.

It doesn’t scroll or open other pages. The result is stored in chrome.storage.local; in Settings you can click “Read my profile again”. It isn’t used during the 48-hour pause after a LinkedIn warning.

Why invite people similar to you?

They share interests, language and industry with you, and usually make a relevant network.

It’s a good starting point if your audience isn’t clear yet. If you sell to a different profile (buyers, for example), change the job title or industry in that step.
